TRADITIONAL

No Limits No Excuses

From presenting our program on a national stage, to engaging regional stakeholders in education and workforce issues, and reaching a milestone in partnership numbers, 2019 was a momentous year for No Limits No Excuses. On the national front, the Lumina Education Foundation selected NLNE as a finalist for their annual Innovation Challenge. NLNE was one of only three programs in the nation to compete at the LiftEd conference in San Francisco, and the partnership earned a $5000 award. Back at home, NLNE was focused on bringing together area industry leaders and educators to engage both sectors in meaningful collaboration and inspire resulting action.

To that end, the Partnership presented Building Your Future Workforce, a community-wide presentation featuring Regional Economist Rich Froeschle on the economic impact of aligning education and industry and how those partnerships contribute to a thriving workforce. NLNE also hosted the first of a series of events called EdIND Collaborate which continue to bring together Texas Panhandle educators and industry leaders to ensure our education programs align with industry needs.
